Chi-Town

wow, it's been more than a month since i've updated? haha life after spring break has just been busyness...anyways, Yixuan, Chan Min, Sung Guk, and I went to Chicago last weekend for the Hillsong concert...sooo spartknotes version time:

Saturday: woke up at 7 to go to airport to pick up car, neither of us had a credit card (only debit card) or a return flight ticket to insure them that we'll be returning the car, spent an hr there, remembered that i do have a return flight...in aug, it worked, got a free upgrade on car, drove back to campus, took a 2 hr nap, left around 11 due to asian lateness by everybody...got to trinity christian, Mark gave us a mini tour of campus, broke my flip flops, got new flip flops, went down town, took many pics of the bean, had fun, drove to Sears Arean for Hillsong, met up with Ohioans/Chicagoans after, went to eat "dinner" (@ midnight) with bro, P.Victor, john, jerry, josh, yixuan, and sherry (so many J's!), went to sherry's place for the night...

Sunday: church - bro improved so much in preaching, ah! so proud of him! had harold's for lunch, chilled outside of church, waited for chan min and sung guk, got on the road and i drove back, returned car, dinner at like 9, showered, unpacked, crashed - didn't even do hw...

overall, i was really satisfied with the trip...i had a really good time and i felt really blessed at the end of it. BUT Hillsong was NOT as satisfying as i thought it would be, it was not as amazing as i thought it be either...in fact, it was rather disappointing...BUT BUT, i learned something nonetheless...i think the reason i enjoyed last weekend so much was because of the company, it was so good to see the ohioans, and since none of the girls went, it was all of the guys that i was closer with! yay! and of course, it was really good to see mark too, haha but i'll get to see him over the summer, so not that big of deal as compared to the ohioans...there were quite a few lessons learned on this trip and i praise the Almighty for that (Almighty with a capital A...not winston...=.=) hokay, i think that's all.
