Ohio

a run down on everything that happened in Ohio and Chicago...so far. (yes, it's long.)

Thursday: arrived at Columbus, Ohio after a 3hrs 45min flight. Brother picked us up, almost cried when i saw him...haha, went to a chinese restaurant that was just about to close but gave us 15min to eat, then went to brother's new place to sleep!

Friday: woke up at 5:30am Tucson time, 8:30am Ohio time, to go visit Cedarville University. it was really cool, i really liked it...(pictures are on facebook, don't have a facebook? get one) and i bought a t-shirt that i immediately wore the next day...haha. For youth group, they went bowling, i sucked more than i did back at home (now that's pretty bad), but it was still really fun. I really like the kids at guh's youth group, they're all really funny and uber nice. my lane was especially funny...here were three guys and three girls, including me. they were all pretty good i was like DANG IT! WHY AM I STUCK WITH THE GOOD PEOPLE! haha....but that night was really fun. Afterwards, we went to Applebees...of course...and i just chilled with three of the girls from that church, they were funny and it was good fellowship time.

Saturday: slept till we felt like it...which wasn't very late...went to go buy a few things from costco, went to church to help make some food for the sale on sunday to raise money for their mission trip, mom had a class thing at church, left church, some youth came to guh's place to watch michale clayton, i decided not to watch it after like 10min...1) got too boring 2) we already rented it at home...i wanna wait...haha...

Sunday: church, sunday school was refreshing, guh has improved a lot...worship was (Columbians, don't take offense to this) not as good as our church's, so youth group, give yourself a pat on the back, if you're not on worship team, go pat someone who's on worship team a pat on the back...they only did two songs i knew and really didn't do that good on it (Your Grace is Enough and Prince of Peace) sermon was done by guh guh, which was really really good! i'm glad he left tucson and have this chance to improve so much! Praise God! after church me and 3 girls and guh went to two malls, don't remember the first one, but the second one was Easton, which was super awesome! outdoors mall, gianormus, and my legs were sore afterwards...hahaha...and everything was on sale and cheap (and tax is lower!) but i didn't buy anything...

Monday: woke up around 9, left for chicago around 9:30am...arrived around 3:30pm, went to chinatown that scared the crap outta me...all those black homeless people...i thought i was gonna die...hahaha...we ate at this place called "Peneng" which obviously serves malaysian food, and it was good, makes me miss malaysia tho...but the manager became friends with my dad cause you know, the malaysians...haha....my mom and i wanted to leave chinatown right after cause we were both scared but my dad and bro wanted to stay longer...who got their way? the girls! we drove to wheaton college first, just to know where it is then we went to look for a hotel...finally found one, hampton inn, stayed there...just because i think this is funny...you might not want to read this next sentence tho...the whole family took a dump at the hotel...hahahahahaha.

Tuesday: woke up at 8 or so due to ze father's snoring....went down for free breakfast...left to go visit wheaton college...now for those of you who know me really well, you know that wheaton has been my first choice since i don't even know when....so i was really excited...the campus and everything was really nice...except that it was soooo freezing cold!!! it was like 44 degrees! O_O...but i was really sad that the bookstore was closed so i couldn't buy a t-shirt...>=(...after wheaton we drove back to chinatown, ate dimsum (ehhhh....wasn't that great), drove back to ohio. so here i am! ok i'm done, there will be more stuff when i get back to tucson....

i tried extending my plane ticket, cause i don't really wanna go back to tucson anymore...haha, i like it here in the midwest...cold? yes, very...pretty? yes very...green? crazy green...but too bad, i'll be back in the desert on thursday night....-sigh-
