Slapsgiving & Black Friday

This year's thanksgiving was pretty awesome. (you gotta say awesome the way barney stinson says it =P)

Thursday Church Thanksgiving Celebration: 3 people got baptized! i'm so happy! especially Ken getting baptized!!!
during it i played piano for the Lu kids to sing 3 songs, they were adorable and did sucha good job...then Rudy played the Harmonica while Alex played guitar...and they played all the songs that we usually sang at their worship, it was so good! i like how they usually don't even know the song or how to sing it, yet, they were able to "play it back to us" according to Rudy's words. Then Atonious sang this song while Alex played guitar, Atonious was SO nervous, his voice kept cracking, but he still did a really good job and i'm so proud of all my co-workers! =)
Afterwards, there was a HUGE dinner...seriously...i didn't get any pictures of the food, it was CRAZY!!! With 5 restaurant owners there, there was ALL kinds of foods! it was DELICIOUS! During dinner, i set up Yee's Wii and Sau Guh's Guitar Hero on projector, it was so big...it was fun. Then Yixuan and i came home, we guitar hero-ed some more on projector...we said we would only play for an hr, we ended up playing for like 2.5hrs...haha then she took a 15min nap while i showered...

Friday 12am: we left home a little before 12 and met up with Mark at church to get some chairs and stuff...then off to best buy we went! The line wasn't that long...well we were in the "back" because a buncha people set up tents and stuff like that, that took up a lot of space...so we brought 3 kinds of chips and a buncha water...while we were sitting for the first hour or so, we ate...but afterwards, when people took off their tents and we moved infront of the store, we put all the chairs away and we didn't even eat the snacks...(that reminds me, they're still on my car...><) oh yeah, Jess and Binh joined us after a while, and while we were in line, yixuan, mark, and i got really cold and went to Mark's car to warm up, then we drove to McDonalds and they got sausage mcmuffin, i wasn't hungry tho...then we continued staying warm in his car...finally around like 4:30 we went back out...and Meixuan and Lixuan came and the 3 xuans went to the mall. When we finally got in, Mark got his memory thing and decided not to buy the game, and i reserved my camera...which ended to be like 20min max...and we went to the mall to meet with the xuans...They were waiting in line at Forever 21 and Mark and I didn't want to wait so we went to Starbucks and we took a short nap there...the xuans were at Sears (what the?) so we went there and "stalked" them we followed them around for like 10min and they didn't even notice us, even though they walked by us like 3 times...haha then some more shopping...We left around 8:30am...the xuans kept shopping and we lost Jess and Binh after seeing them lining up at Forever 21. I went back to best buy around 11:30am with my parents and got my camera! xD super happy, i really really ridiculously like it. i got a 4gb memory card for $15 at office depot and a pair of purple sony headphones that i've seen around but never bought it till today...yay! So yeah that's pretty much of thanksgiving and black friday, it was supah fun. =)

Tradition

i went to desert's production of Fiddler on the Roof yesterday, and there first song was "Tradition" and it was repeated throughout the musical so it was stuck in my head today...haha which is why the title is also called that...anyways, oh myyyyyy, i really really really ridiculously enjoyed it! They were awesome! Kevin did such a good job! i didn't get a chance to congratulate him though...and everyone else! Jessie was Samuel's mom...hehe, i've always made fun of her for looking so much like him and this time she got to play his mom, how funny...anyways, i had a great time...and when i got home, all i did was eat dinner and watch 6 episodes of How I Met Your Mother...didn't even do any homework, even now, i don't have any done...today all i did was go to church, take a nap, eat two bites of stuff, went to chipotle with family and yee, then facebooked, and now blogging... i'm a horrible, horrible student...

Anyways, so for like the past month, i've been the biggest complainer about how Christmas came early this year and now annoyed i am at that...because i LOVE Christmas, but 1) it's still so warm 2) Thanksgiving hasn't even passed yet 3) i just don't feel like it!!! but randomly, about 20minutes ago, i decided to play my Christmas playlist, and when i do that it means i'm getting into my Christmas mode, and now i'm SUPER in the Christmas-ness!! it's crazy, i'm gonna set up the Christmas tree at church this wednesday and the Christmas playlist is going back on my iPod and just...YAY!!!! haha such a sudden change, but i'm excited!!!

i'm really excited for black friday! i really really wanna get a new camera...i really doubt ma will let us camp out of best buy, but if we get a few more youths to do it, including males, i wonder if she will....haha if not i'll just have to wake up super early to go!!! yosh! well, time to shower and kill more time before really doing hw....even though it's already 11:25...ai...

i think it's time for an update. last weekend was normal...kinda...haha friday night during yg i baked 3 cakes for Shui Bing, Mark, and Jerry...one for the each of them. and we ate cake. Ming was also back this week, so it was pretty cool. we had up to 26 people at youth group this week!! how awesome? praise God! then saturday was interesting, i got a $1 beanie from Old Navy, then Yixuan and i went to sonic for happy hour drinks, so delicious! then went home, went to Newsboys Reach Concert, went to sonic...lol...food made our day tho, we're so easily satisifed. then sunday was church and i didn't have to work...again. hahaha.

today was senior ditch day, i don't know how many people actually showed up, but whatevers, i got a chance to ditch, so i did. but i went to work. which was interesting too, i haven't worked in a while, and i guess i kinda really missed it, so i had fun. =) there really isn't much update...but yeaaaah. ok

it's 1:11am right now, i haven't showered, i smell like burnt stuff, and i'm super tired. but i wanna get this post in before bed or end of weekend.

so obviously, today was halloween, what a lame day, anyways we didn't "dress up", 10 of us just decided to all be an ingredient of a chipotle burrito! haha, we just all got a "colored" shirt and then wrote our ingredient on the front and "chipotel" on the back and yes it's misspelled because it's like a fake brand...haha. here's our list of ingredients, in order that you would get at chipotle:

so today at yg, we had bon fire and "Holy Spirit" vs "deamons" discussion, which turned out poorly, which would be my fault as i failed to look up some stuff, and with the smoke blowing against my face, using the fire as a light, and constantly losing my place, it was very hard to keep focused. Anways, afterwards the 10 of us went to Chipotle and only Yee, Tony, and Martha ordered, but the people, amazed at our effort gave us 2 free burritos! although today was like an all day "you have foil all over you, you get a burrito" but we didn't have any foil! haha, it was cool tho. Praise Jeebus! =P then we just took lots and lots of pictures, which i am positive will all be on facebook from Jess and Tracy. but i better go shower now as i am pretty darn disgusting.

Yay no work tomorrow!

edit\\ i forgot to add, we stopped by new china before going to Chipotle because they wanted to it cause i told them it was a 10 person event. haha. and i made Rudy build his perfect burrito, he ended up having a "steak, rice, lettuce, cheese'" burrito, he wanted guacamole, but when i told him it cost 1.50 more he said no. well poo on him...haha we were not happy with his burrito as he only used 2/5 of all our ingredients!
