God is good, this weekend was pretty legendary (ha, inside joke with Yixuan from How I Met Your Mother) so it was fun, filled with laughter, and just good times of bonding with friends.
Friday: after youth group we - tracy, xuans, jerry, mark, janet, jess, winter - went to wingstop, haha, haven't been there as a youth group since like ming or my brother. and it was fun, but without my brother, i didn't order anything cause 1) it's so late 2) i can't finish that much, when it's that late 3) he pays for it...hahaha. the others, not me, tracy, or yixuan, were playing BS before the wings came and then when the wings came everyone was just focused on eating...but it was still a good time of fellowship
Saturday: after practice, yixuan and i went shopping as planned, because i didn't have to work! yay! oh and i took Alex, who also had the day off with us. first destination: AE, yixuan and i both had very little amount of money on us, so we had to spend our money wisely. long story short (not really) we both found this shirt we liked, and i found this pair of shorts that i liked too, which is rare, but the shirt we both liked had a price of $14.95, at least that's what the price tag said, so yixuan and i wanted to check how much the total would be if those three things were bought, when they scanned the shirts, they turned out to be $9.95! and since they're having a sale at AE, everything is buy one get one 50% off, so yixuan found another shirt, and so the shirts became $4.97! man, yixuan and i were SO happy! haha, alex got stuff too - 2 things, and he was excited xP then we drove to eegee's, but since yixuan and i literally ran out of money, we had to use all the coins i had in my "coin department" on my car, and we managed to get quite some money and bought a large eegee's to share between us 3. (btw, xiao qi jie, the flavor of the month is Black Raspberry, it tastes pretty amazing, like a sibling of strawberry) then we went to the New China Dorms to listen to Alex play guitar for the first time! geez, pretty amazing for self-taught and all by listening to music and just catching things, no book no teacher no nothing. then we came home and took a nap. then we went off to desert's homecoming game, hooray for sam and caitrin wining homecoming king and queen! then us four girls -xuans and tracy- went off to starbucks and took pictures like crazy...haha it was funnnn and very humours. pictures of both days are on tracy's facebook, yes, the outfit i'm wearing in the homecoming/starbucks pictures was the shorts and shirt i got earlier that day...for uber cheap! yes! xD haha
sunday: church, work, and homework. not much.
once again, God is good, and i praise Him for this wonderful weekend!
